Zinc is a Non-Tool metal obtained by melting Sphalerite in a Ceramic Vessel or a Crucible.
Sphalerite is an uncommon ore that spawns in Metamorphic stone- a spawn pattern it shares with Tetrahedrite.
Alloying and Smithing
While Zinc can be used to create Double Ingots, Sheets and Double Sheets, these cannot be crafted into Tools or Armor.
Zinc is used as an Alloy - both with Copper and Bismuth to create Bismuth Bronze, and with Copper to make Brass.
Temperatures
Note: Metals are still workable at welding temperature
