Native Gold |
Gold is a tier 2 metal obtained by melting Native Gold in a Ceramic Vessel or a Crucible.
Native Gold is an uncommon ore that spawns in all Igneous Stone.
Alloying and Smithing
While Gold can be used to create Double Ingots, Sheets and Double Sheets, these cannot be crafted into Tools or Armor.
Unlike most other non-tool metals, gold ingot are used directly in a recipe. Gold can be used to create powered rails, as in vanilla. This recipe however, only produces 6 powered rail, and Wrought Iron can be used to create 16 powered rail.
Gold is also used as an Alloy - both with Copper and Silver to create Black Bronze, and with Copper to make Rose Gold.
Temperatures
Note: Metals are still workable at welding temperature
