Log Piles are the primary way of storing Logs in TFC and can be used as a building block that is not affected by gravity.

Log piles can be created by attempting to place a log while sneaking.
Storage
Each Log Pile can store up to 16 logs, stored as 4 stacks of 4. A pile can have multiple types of log in it. Once the last piece of wood is taken out, the block disappears.
Logs can be added to the pile either by opening its GUI or by right clicking it with the log to add.
Uses
The Log Pile is the main component of the Charcoal Pit.
