Obtaining

Tin is a non-tool Metal, obtained by smelting Cassiterite in a Ceramic Vessel or a Crucible.

Cassiterite is a rarer ore that only spawns in Ingeous Intrusive Rock - Diorite, Granite, and Gabbro.

Alloying and Smithing

While tin can be used to create Double Ingots, Sheets, and Double Sheets, these cannot be crafted into Tools or Armor

Tin's primary use to Alloy with Copper to create tier 2 Bronze.
