Metal Buckets contain 1000mB of liquid. Red and Blue Steel Buckets are smithed from a single Sheet. They are able to place source blocks. However, the Red Steel Bucket is only able to pick up Water, and the Blue Steel Bucket is only able to pick up Lava.
A Vanilla Bucket (which has no restrictions) can be crafted from 5 Wrought Iron ingots and both the Red and Blue Steel Buckets.
