Black Bronze is a tier 2 Alloy created by mixing Copper, Gold and Silver together in a Ceramic Vessel or a Crucible.

Black Bronze is the strongest and most expensive Bronze, outperforming Bronze and Bismuth Bronze at the cost of gold and silver in its creation.

Tools, Weapons, and Armor

Black Bronze Tools have a default durability of 1460 for most tools (Prospectors Picks have a third of this, at 486, and Scythes have 50% more at 2190).

Black Bronze Swords do 5.25 Slashing damage base, Black Bronze Maces 6.52 Crush damage base, and Black Bronze Javelins do 3.97 Piercing damage. Swords and Maces have 1460 durability, while Javelins have 146.

A full suit of Black Bronze Armor provides 10 Armor points, with durability ranging from 231 base for the Black Bronze Helmet, to 336 base for the Black Bronze Chestplate

A Black Bronze Shield will block all incoming damage, and has 1460 durability.

Alloying and Smithing

Black Bronze can be Welded on a tier one or higher Anvil to make Double Ingots. 7 Double Ingots can be combined in an "I" pattern to make a Black Bronze anvil. Black Bronze anvils allow for Smithing Bronze tools and weapons, which will receive bonuses as a players smithing skill increases. Black Bronze anvils allow for the welding of Wrought Iron double ingots, to create a tier 3 anvil.

Black Bronze is used in Black Steel, and it can be used in the creation of a Bloomery, required to progress to the Iron Age.

Temperatures

Note: Metals are still workable at welding temperature
