Charcoal is the main fuel source in TerraFirmaCraft. It can fuel the Forge, Bloomery, and Blast Furnace. It can be placed by sneaking and right clicking on the ground, where it will place in sheets up to 8 high, a full block. It burns slightly less hot than Coal.

A full block of Charcoal is needed to build the Forge.

Obtaining

Charcoal is obtained from a Charcoal Pit.
