Creation
Smooth stone is created when Raw Stone is chiselled. Chiselling can be performed by Right clicking on a Raw Stone block with a Chisel in your main hand and a Hammer in your off-hand. Smooth stone is used to make the Quern, along with Redstone Repeaters, Comparators, Slabs, Stairs, and Walls.
Trivia
While smooth stone is not effected by Cave-ins, it is impossible to chisel stone that is under another block of stone.
